Determination: the act of deciding definitely and firmly
After days of grief and courage, I think the logical follow up is determination. Determination is different from planning something specific, it the emotion at the core of the act of deciding something. Whether we want to make big changes or simply be grateful for what we have, determination is an important starting point.
Today I am fueling the fire of determination by doing research on my goals, networking with people who can help me, and whittling down the things I need to decide on and plan out for this idea to be successful.
Those plans are nascent and and minimally visible to me at this point. I need this time to figure out concretely what I have decided on — that is, take it from a ghost of an idea and make it into something real that I can act on.
